With the expansion of Internet of Everything (IoE), Display of Everything and display application scenarios and the iteration of key technologies in the era of 5G-based IoT, efforts are still needed for continuous innovation in display technology. At the Forum, Zhang Deqiang said that Visionox formulated "One Strong and Two New" development strategies for the next five years. "One Strong" refers to consolidating the success in small-sized display applications, and "Two New" refers to expanding new medium-sized display applications and opening up a new large-sized display market.

Zhang Deqiang said that in the next five years, Visionox will steadily improve the operational efficiency of OLED mass production, explore innovative solutions together with the industrial chain, upgrade comprehensive customer services, consolidate Visionox's foundation in vital OLED technologies and innovative applications, and play a leading role in the development of China's OLED industry.

Expanding New Medium-sized Display Applications and Opening Up A New Large-sized Display Market

In response to the market demand for medium-sized AMOLEDs, Visionox will build an advanced next-generation mass production line to incorporate high-potential innovations, thus providing customers with cutting-edge product solutions and expanding medium-sized display applications. In terms of R&D, Visionox's medium-sized display products will change the existing product modalities, open up more new modalities and new application scenarios, and focus on the terminal needs for low weight, long service life, low power consumption, integration and high definition. Next-generation medium-sized displays are expected to come to the market soon.

As for large-sized displays, Visionox will combine innovative technologies and business models to boost the emerging display business - Micro-LED, and roll out new distribution channels and service patterns. The "2345" development framework formed by Visionox's sustainable innovation mainly refers to two business lines of OLED and Micro-LED; three core technologies such as optics and materials, semiconductor devices and system integration; four innovation bases in the Yangtze River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Chengdu-Chongqing; and five application fields such as intelligent terminal, automotive interaction, smart home, IPC healthcare, innovation-driven business, etc.
