Ecosystem Collaboration Becomes the Key to Accelerate Iterations in the OLED Industry

Currently, the global industry chain landscape is undergoing accelerated adjustments, intertwining technology iterations with market fluctuations.

“Today, Visionox's circle of friends has formed a global industrial symbiosis network after continuous expansion", mentioned Dr. Zhang Deqiang, Chairman and President of Visionox, in his speech. Looking to the future, Visionox is focusing on three major directions. Firstly, deepening ecosystem collaboration by co-building an innovation community with our partners, spanning from materials and equipment to application scenarios; secondly, upgrading product structure by leveraging high-generation production lines to advance into the medium-to-large size field, such as vehicle-mounted display and IT products; and thirdly, breaking through technology boundaries by accelerating the layout of perovskite and other pan-display technologies, and moving beyond display while centering on display.

Ching W. Tang, the inventor of OLED and member of the National Academy of Engineering, USA, stated in his speech that, Visionox's ViP technology is of revolutionary significance in the OLED manufacturing field. It can be extended to ultra-large-area production (e.g., large-size TV panels) and achieve ultra-high resolutions exceeding 1000 ppi, unlocking diversified application scenarios such as medical display and AR/VR products. He described this photolithography technology-based OLED manufacturing process as a "Grand Alliance" technology. Building an ecosystem and co-creating an ecosystem platform is crucial for the industry chain to address the challenges caused by rapid technology iterations.

Zhang Zhi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Hefei Municipal People’s Government, mentioned in his speech that thriving industries drive the prosperity of cities. Hefei's emerging industry development began with displays, quickly gaining prominence and advancing significantly. "Today this is a grand event for Visionox's industry chain and also a conference for Hefei's display industry", he expressed. Hefei has spent nearly 20 years in establishing a complete industrial chain that covers upstream equipment, materials, and components, midstream panels and modules, and downstream smart terminals, rising to the forefront of China's new display technology sector.

Zhang Zhi pointed out that in the future, Hefei would continue to adhere to the principle of "following one blueprint to the end, and advancing one office term after another", accelerate the enhancement of industrial capacities, leveraging the advantages of the national-level strategic emerging industry cluster, and promoting the establishment and growth of supporting enterprises in Hefei by relying on industry leaders like Visionox. Dr. Xu Fengying, Visionox’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer delivered a keynote speech titled "Innovation facilitates symbiosis , and quality is important in the future". She proposed that the OLED industry's long-term development remains promising, and its emerging applications will drive continuous growth in the sector. In the next five years, the mobile phones and wearable sectors will witness steady growth, while the compound annual growth rate will exceed 20%in the mid-size IT and automotive display sectors. In the meantime, new markets for home, gaming, education, and industrial control products are expected to bring significant growth potential.

At the event, Visionox showcased the ViP "Full Suite", smart vehicle-mounted series solutions, and smart home series solutions.

Looking ahead, Dr. Xu emphasized that Visionox is setting high goals and leveraging technology to usher in the next AMOLED+ era.

She mentioned that the phenomenal success of the Chinese movie Ne Zha and Deepseek provides three key insights, namely, focusing on core strengths, embracing disruptive innovations, and always anchoring on user value. "A good product will always find its market. We must dare to imagine, dare to act, and dare to persist, so as to consistently create excellent products through independent innovation", she expressed.

Dr. Xu expressed that there is immense potential for collaboration between Visionox and its supplier partners, from material innovation and technological innovation to frontier layouts in new fields, and from development to stable mass production. Improving innovation mechanisms to accelerate breakthroughs and result transformation; optimizing supplier resource pool management with a dual domestic and international supply chain approach; establishing a full-cycle and full-process total value of ownership (TVO) evaluation system, to forge high-quality supply capabilities; strengthening strategic consensus to proactively build technological and supply barriers; and practicing green carbon reduction to protect ecological value.

Wei Hui, General Manager of Visionox Quality Center, stated in his speech, "High quality means low cost, means delivery capability, and brings innovation outcomes." He introduced Visionox's "High-Quality Traction" supply chain development plan for 2025, emphasizing the construction of a supply chain quality management system characterized by "Customer Satisfaction, Efficient Collaboration, and Excellent Quality"。
