Magic6/6pro features Visionox-supplied display screens with resolutions of 1264×2800 and 1280×2800, respectively. These displays boast peak screen brightness of up to 5000 nits and introduce a groundbreaking advancement in eye protection: Honor Magic 6 series is the industry’s first product equipped with 4320 Hz UHF PWM dimming, setting a new benchmark for eye protection.

Superior eye protection

 The industry's highest 4320 Hz UHF PWM dimming

Honor Magic 6 series smartphones feature the industry's first 4320 Hz UHF PWM dimming oasis eye protection screen, establishing a new frontier in screen technology with unparalleled eye protection.

Leveraging advanced technology combined with IC algorithm adjustments, Visionox has achieved the upgrade of high-frequency PWM dimming from 3840 Hz to 4320 Hz and reduced screen flicker to better protect users’ eyes while maintaining excellent image quality, even at low brightness and grayscale levels.

In terms of eye protection, in 2020, Visionox and Honor jointly launched the industry's first high-frequency PWM dimming (1440 Hz) smartphone; by the first half of 2023, Visionox had become the main supplier of Honor 90 series and pioneered to release the 3840 Hz UHF PWM zero-risk dimming technology, delivering a flicker-free viewing experience to its users; in November 2023, Visionox supplied the Honor 100 series and launched the Honor oasis eye protection screen.

Extended product lifespan

The service life of the product is greatly prolonged compared with that of conventional products.

Addressing screen burn-in and aging issues in Always-On Display (AOD) mode, Visionox developed a solution that compensates for pixel brightness degradation. This technology ensures that pixel brightness remains consistent after continuous aging tests at room temperature and 55℃, significantly reducing product lifespan compared with conventional ones.

Lower power consumption

Power consumption of IC is reduced by up to 20% compared with conventional ones

Through collaborative innovation, Visionox and Honor developed dynamic timing adjustment technology, optimizing AOD mode and reducing IC power consumption by 15%-20% compared to conventional designs. At the same time, Visionox fine-tuned de-mura parameters to ensure uncompromised visual effects at low brightness and grayscale levels. In addition, Honor Magic 6 series smartphones incorporate Visionox luxury low-power package (new material and device system + Hybrid TFT). Through the reorganized design of materials and devices, device capacitance and electron-hole balance experience optimization, further reducing power consumption.
