From May 5 to 7 local time, the global display industry's premier event, SID Display Week (SID DW 2026), was held in Los Angeles, USA. Visionox shines with full-size innovative achievements at SID DW 2026.
During the exhibition, Yan Ruoyuan, Co-President of Visionox, delivered a keynote speech titled "The Future of SENSE," discussing new trends in the display industry with global display partners, and attended the opening ribbon-cuttingceremony.
At this exhibition, Visionox showcased its comprehensive FMM AMOLED full-size technology solutions, along with the FMM-free "ViP+" series upgrade solutions, leveraging the core technical advantages of its "platform-based" display technologies to define the upgrade direction of next-generation displays. From high performance to full size and to various applications, Visionox has deeply cultivated the new display core track, prospectively laid out an innovative display system, and promoted business upgrading from "scale driven" to "quality and value driven".
World-leading
World Premiere of 7 Solutions
Upgraded Performance with Brilliance
At the exhibition, Visionox unveiled 7 globally premier innovative solutions, covering high-end application scenarios such as AR, smart wearables, mobile phones, and vehicle-mounted displays. Among them,
the world's first 3000 PPI glass-based monochrome OLED AR solution debuted with the pioneering achievement of ultra-high 3000 PPI pixel density on a glass-based OLED. This solution offers both high yield and low-cost potential, helping to accelerate the adoption of consumer-grade AR devices.
In addition, the exhibition witnessed the world premiere of 3,000 PPI monochrome QLED AR solution, which achieves higher performance with brightness of >10,000 nit, along with greater efficiency and longer lifespan.
The wearable solution with 201 PPI top-emitting photolithography QLED full-color display was also launched for the first time on the globe. This solution achieves a wider color gamut and higher brightness through process innovation, providing broader space for the next generation of displays.
The world's first mass-producible solution for high-mobility ALD oxide technology achieves a single-gate mobility exceeding 50 cm²/(V·s) and successfully lights up an all-oxide panel, offering a new pathway for OLED backplanes that balances high performance, process efficiency, and full-size scalability potential.
The COE technology is currently a hot topic of innovation in the industry. Visionox has globally launched a high-image-quality Flexible OLED solution featuring extremely low reflectivity of less than 5%. Additionally, it eliminates previous diffraction rings and reduces color separation, and thus delivers superior off-screen uniformity. The overall module thickness is also reduced by 100 μm compared with conventional displays.
In the field of vehicle-mounted displays, Visionox also introduced two globally premier solutions. The world's first vehicle-mounted UDIR flexible AMOLED solution implements InV see technology in vehicle scenarios to achieve interference-free perception with zero flicker under infrared light. By combining InV see, under-screen camera with 3D facial recognition technology, it supports precise facial recognition and state monitoring in low-light conditions, balancing technological aesthetics, driving safety, and privacy protection, helping to upgrade the intelligent cockpit experience.
Additionally, Visionox has unveiled the world's first QLED automotive taillight solution, marking the industry's inaugural integration of QLED into automotive taillights. This innovation achieves a sub-unit spacing of only 0.7mm, surpassing traditional LED taillights, enabling more fluid dynamic lighting effects and enhancing the vehicle interaction experience.
Even Better
"Reaching International Leading Level"
ViP+: Defining the Upgrades of Next-Generation Displays
In the race of next-generation display technology, Visionox is simultaneously advancing both ViP (Visionox Intelligent Pixelization) and Micro-LED technologies, building dual engines for industrial development. Among them, the ViP technology serves as the "platform-based" technology for further innovation and upgrade. This exhibition introduced the upgraded ViP+ series solution, setting the enhancement direction for the next generation of displays.
The ViP technology is a platform-based technology deployed by Visionox to explore new tracks in AMOLED. It replaces traditional FMM with photolithography patterning, and features independent sub-pixels and high precision, significantly unleashing the potential of AMOLED in lifespan, brightness, resolution, and form factor flexibility. The "ViP+" upgrade solution has achieved further breakthroughs in brightness, picture quality, power consumption, and interaction, making it more possible for AMOLED to penetrate into more application fields in the AI era.
At the exhibition, Visionox showcased wearable devices and medium-sized laptop models featuring the ViP+Tandem technology. Aside from the noticeable difference in brightness, the image quality is also more transparent at a glance. The medium-sized laptop exhibit with the ViP+Tandem technology achieves Real RGB stripe arrangement, resulting in more accurate color reproduction and sharper line edges compared to FMM OLED. The 4K ultra-high-definition image quality delivers a more immersive experience to users. Compared with similar products, daily usage scenarios consume 10% less power, delivering longer battery life.
In the core exhibition area, Visionox showcased the ViP mid-frame with excellent panel reliability and uniformity. Currently, the ViP technology has been evaluated by experts as "world-leading" and achieved shipment to brand customers.
ViP, as the platform-based technology for displays, offers continuous technological extensibility. Thanks to the ViP technology's independent sub-pixels packaging, the CIE technology, which could not be achieved in the FMM process due to reliability issues, can now be perfectly realized. The integrated ViP+CIE technology delivers enhanced visible brightness, improved brightness reduction by 40% at the angle of 75° (compared with COE); broader color gamut coverage; and reduced panel power consumption by 25% (compared with POL).
Systematic Innovation
Full-Scenario Technology Matrix Refresh
Empowering Experience Upgrade
In addition to technological innovation in core display technology, Visionox places importance on enhancing the user experience. Continuous systematic innovation have been deployed in screen form, image quality, power consumption, and eye protection, further enriching the full-scenario application upgrade based on the FMM technology.
New Morphology Series: Narrower, Thinner, More Seamless
·In terms of narrow bezels, Visionox has introduced the Hybrid ultra-narrow bezel smart wearables solution, achieving a 1.95 mm narrow bezel design for wearables modules, and providing an optimized solution for Smart Wearables' overall device architecture; to further expand the screen-to-body ratios of Mobile Phones, Visionox has achieved an ultra-narrow bezel with left and right borders at only 0.55mm; for the medium-sized full-oxide OLED solution, the left and right borders are<1.8mm, matching the leading specifications of LTPO; for the dynamic curved seamless splicing OLED solution, a new module stacking structure was used, ensuring bendability while improving flatness and performance, and also achieving the industry's smallest medium-sized splicing border (<3.8mm).
In terms of slim and lightweight design, Visionox's Ultra Flat Hybrid CG-less OLED solution provides thinner (less than 1mm) and lighter (less than 130g) products compared to the rigid module. Simultaneously, it prevents strong interference and rainbow pattern.
